Once upon a time, there was a girl called Osayo who had a sick mother. The mother was always disturbed by the mosquito sounds and could hardly sleep in peace. Because of that, she was weakening and getting wasted more and more each day. Osayo visited the "Oshaka-sama (Buddha)" and prayed to him every day to save her mother. One night, when she fell asleep while taking care of her mother, Oshaka-sama appeared to her in a dream. She awoke from sleep and surprisingly found her mother sleeping peacefully. There was no disturbing sound of mosquitos at all. And strangely and amazingly, her mother started to recover from her illness. Osayo thanked Oshaka-sama over again and again.

The kids from Seto City handcrafted the mosquitos in the story. They rolled up patterned Japanese papers and fixed them with wires to make the eyes, bodies and tentacles. It was simple-to-make and the kids had so much fun making many unique mosquitos.
