Once upon a time, Wagou Village had a dry spell. However, strangely, the pond of Chichigama never dried up. One day, the kids found an unusual pond-snail while playing in the pond. The village mayor thought it must be the master of the pond of Chichigama and took it with him. He gathered the villagers and offered prayers for rain. The village suddenly had a big rainfall. From that point, Wagou Village was blessed with rain and had a good harvest every year.

The kids from Tougoucho handcrafted the pond-snails. Unlike the usual pond-snails with right-handed shells, the one in the tale was with left-handed shell and was very big. The kids created the hats shaped as pond-snails making use of its characteristics. They took a photograph putting on the hats, and turned themselves into the parts of the objet d'art.
