1) Merry in Taiwan

Under the theme of communication " international dialog", an art exhibition is held at a town named 彰化 in Taichu, Taiwan now.
This place was built by Japan as storehouse of rice before the war but renewed as museum now.

On the long and thin gallery you see about 30 lanterns printed 60 people's smiles on their front and back.
Those smiles appear on the floor and make a world of smiles.
It 's a happy place leads to Buddhism.

And in a room you see a lot of smiles on the wall and 3 big lanterns of people's smiles in front of them.
Lantern is craft products in Taiwan and also local products in this region.
They make a wonderful space with Merry smiles.

It's unique, original and very fresh.
Just as I arrived there, about 10 people of media came to me and showed on their TV or newspapers soon.

After that I was treated local street foods and went back to Taipei on the next day.
We went to 淡水, it's a scenic water front, takes about one hour from Taipei.
At a university there I had a seminar for 2 hours hastily.
Most students learn and speak Japanese.
I explained the concept of Merry, took pictures of their smiles and heard their messages.
Everyone enjoyed speaking with a Japanese and such an experiences for the first time.

We saw the sunset and got souvenir at the mall near the station.
Black eggs, Rice cracker with shrimps, dried fruits, and so on.
We ate also local street foods below.
1.Pepper noodle with beef
2.Sweets of peanuts
3. Soup of frog
4. Fried tuna
5. Hand of pork

People in Taiwan are so friendly to Japanese.
It's a really Merry trip! Taiwan is a merry country.
We'll visit again soon for seminar and so on...
I'm looking forward to so much.
